  24. I bought myself Autodesk's Animator Studio for Christmas, but it seems to
  25. be more akin to an animated PhotoShop rather than DPaint. It will import and
  26. export 256-colour files, but it does all its work in 24-bit mode. Useful, but
  27. not a replacement for DAnim or Animator Pro.

  36. So, there seems to be no real replacement for DPaintV. Doesn't surprise me.

  38. On a related subject, will Animator Studio integrate with the PVR? Do you get 
  39. a 24bit preview? Can you use PVR resolution (720x480)? Does it do 
  40. anything like AnimBrushes? I've not seen AS, can someone comment on the pros 
  41. and cons of the package? Is it reasonably fast (compositing operations etc.) 
  42. on a P90 or better?

  44. One application that would sell me on the PVR is the ability to _quickly_ 
  45. clean up blue-screen shots (wire removal etc.) for later compositing in 
  46. online. This kind of thing currently gets done in the online suite on a 
  47. Flame. Alot of money could be saved if I could use AS or Photoshop.
